A unique opportunity to play an influential role supporting church music and musicians in Ireland, both North and South.

The RSCM is looking to appoint a Coordinator with practical music and leadership skills, and an awareness of how to inspire and support church musicians and music leaders at the local level. The Coordinator will work closely with our volunteer committees in Ireland and Northern Ireland to help nurture church music in affiliated churches and to identify and support educational activities; he/she will also seek out links and collaborations with other church and music bodies.

This post is home-based, but with potential travel throughout the 32 counties.  This is a free-lance post with an annual remuneration of £2,750 (sterling) for 175 hours spread over the year (equivalent to approximately half a day a week), plus reasonable expenses. The position is available from immediate effect and a detailed job description and person specification is attached.

This appointment is subject to RSCM child protection vetting procedures.
